Valagro, a leader in manufacturing and marketing of biostimulants and specialty nutrients, is pleased with the extremely positive response for the Kendal Nem on Tour: the tour comprised of training meetings, in-store activities, meetings and field days, organised in 4 countries for distributors and farmers, opinion leaders and technicians of the sector. The key objective of this tour was to illustrate the potential benefits of Kendal® Nem, a unique crop solution that provides complete nutrition to crops especially in the presence of nematodes.
For Italy, the country which kicked off the tour with a launch event hosted at the Valagroheadquarters, the roadshow generated a review of + 456% compared to that of 2014. Among the most significant stops was Vittoria, in Sicily, where, during the 1st International Symposium on Tomato genetics for the Mediterranean region, the roadshow allowed the Valagro team to meet 180 selected companies, as well as experts and technicians in the sector.
Overall, the tour had a high visibility with overwhelming interest from our customers and was very well received in all the countries. The high interest in this tour was evidenced by the request in Turkey where the Valagro team was asked to organise two additional, unscheduled stops. In Spain and Brazil also, the tour was very successful in terms of interest and participation with more than 300 visitors at the many activities in the programme, which included field days, training meetings and in-store activities.
"The positive results of the Kendal Nem on Tour project has encouraged us to continue on this path to promote our best solutions and benefits to enhancing the productivity of our farmers – stated Farm Product Manager Alfredo Sgrignuoli. "The high rate of participation in the various activities hosted by the tour is a clear indication of the growing market interest in innovative solutions like Kendal Nem, suitable for the nutritional needs of various crops, from vegetables to tropical plants. We also acknowledge - addedSgrignuoli - that the Kendal Nem on Tour provided an excellent opportunity to improve the visibility of our valuable distributors that hosted some of the stops of the tour".
Based on our exclusive technology GEA099, Kendal® Nem is a specific biostimulant that, in the presence of soils affected by plant parasitic nematodes, works directly on the root system of the plant increasing plant growth and the strength of the roots. In fact, it does not act directly on nematodes but helps the plant recover from the stresses caused by nematodes; the result for farmers is an increase in production both in terms of quality and quantity, even in hostile growing conditions.
