Valagro Iberia, a company of the Valagro Group specializing in the production and commercialization of plant biostimulants and other specialty nutrients for crops, together with some members of AEFA, the Spanish Association of Agronutrient Manufacturers, joined a solidarity campaign in which 44 companies participated and a total of 90,000 euros was collected with the aim to buy masks and other protective materials for the seasonal workers in charge of the harvest. Distribution has been made through Cooperativas Agroalimentarias de España, via their regional federations and cooperatives. In addition, thanks to the mediation of the National Department of Agriculture, Fish and Feeding, distribution logistics have been carried out by TRAGSA. All the material has been manufactured by the Santa Bárbara Labour Foundation for the Disabled, whose staff are physically, mentally and sensorially disabled workers.
