A first assessment confirms the effectiveness of this new tool in improving the efficiency of the entire company organisation for the customer’s benefit
The Valagro Group, leader in the production and marketing of biostimulants and specialty nutrients, promotes application of the company's Knowledge Management System with the aim of completing the global networking of all branches by the end of the year. In fact, in the second half of 2015, the integrated management system of market information will be launched starting from Turkey, and then in the following order Greece, the United States and New Zealand.
Over 100 users, 115 Surface 2 devices supplied, 300 local solutions and 1000 documents published: these are the figures that have accompanied the launch of KMS in Italy, France, Spain, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil starting from December 2014 up to the present day, with very positive feedback. In fact, this new tool responds very well to the goal of managing the company's main knowledge flows, facilitating the rapid and constantly updated sharing of significant amounts of information and working methods. This includes their internal processing and targeted redistribution to the various corporate roles, in particular to those who offer customer consultations.
"Once upon a time, the problem was gathering enough information or accessing it promptly. However, we currently have a large amount of information at our disposal and we are in the position of having to carefully select and organise the information properly so that it can be useful." - stated Giuseppe Natale, CEO of the Valagro Group. "This is exactly where the KMS supports us and plays a vital role in ensuring our customers an effective and qualified response to an extremely wide range of crop issues."
In line with the Group's commitment of putting the customer at the centre of all its activities, the company’s KMS confirms its effectiveness in improving understanding of crop needs, in building increasingly tailor-made solutions for specific situations and problems experienced by farmers and distributors, and finally in facilitating the presentation and delivery of such solutions to customers.
Valagro has always focused its growth strategy on research and development in order to produce innovative and effective solutions for agriculture, while fully respecting human and environmental health. In particular, the Group invests over 4% of its turnover each year in research and development, a figure that exceeds 4 million Euro, making use of international collaborative projects with leading scientific institutions and universities in order to develop highly innovative processes and solutions. This allows the Group not only to maintain its leadership position, but above all, to contribute towards progress and innovation in agriculture.
