On October 1st, Valagro officially announced the construction of the Orangeburg plant, in the United States, with a ceremony for the laying of the first stone. The event was attended by nearly 70 guests among key local authorities, State of South Carolina representatives, and a handful of federal authority representatives.
As told by the official press release, the Orangeburg production plant will allow the company to better meet current and future American demand for innovative sustainable agriculture solutions, better serve North American customers, and advance the use of biological products in agriculture.
Mario Mastrangelo, Country Manager USA:
“The groundbreaking ceremony has a relevant value for Valagro Group, a leader in the development, production and marketing of biostimulants, and advanced nutrient solutions for cash and row crops. Valagro Group, with almost 40 years of global market presence, extends that value to its American subsidiary, Valagro USA, which has been supporting farmers since 2000. The new manufacturing plant will allow Valagro to play a key role in the biologicals and advanced crop nutrition industry in the US, by giving us the capability to produce locally and to serve, with even greater excellence, our distribution partners in meeting the growing demand for sustainable solutions, such as biostimulants and specialty nutrients.
