Valagro is always on the lookout to find new ways to innovate in respect for nature, and has signed a new agreement for a scientific collaboration with the Institute of Life Sciences at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies of Pisa.
The agreement relates to the development of new genomic technologies to create different approaches for innovative management of environmental stresses, plant nutrition and the quality of agricultural products.
Alberto Piaggesi, Valagro’s Director of Business Innovation says: “Our collaboration with the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies is a strategic move for Valagro”.
“We’re now looking further ahead, and I am pleased to announce that our collaboration with the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies will join that of the École Normale Supérieure in Paris. This relates to a scientific project to identify new natural sources of substances to be used to create quality products for managing crops, in a traditional perspective of the close bond between science, innovation and sustainable production, which distinguishes Valagro”.
